Denise Zambezi plays a secretarial role as a board member at the Fruit Basket. Ms Zmambezi is a human rights activist and legal scholar with dynamic experience working in development cooperation, the non-governmental organisation (NGO) sector and Civil Society. Her professional competencies include research, legal advice, activism and advocacy, project management and technical support. Her experiences are within the context of gender inequality, gender based violence and hate crime, sexual and reproductive health rights, women's rights and sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) minority rights. She has worked in the NGO sector as senior manager and has wide experience working with LGBTI migrants and refugees seeking assistance with human rights violations and access to basic services.
