As Consulting Chief Operating Officer at The Fruit Basket, Gorata has played a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation’s capacity to protect and restore the dignity of LGBTIQ+ refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers in Southern Africa. His leadership has encompassed strategic planning, operational system design, financial oversight, and digital transformation — ensuring that resources, people, and processes work seamlessly together to deliver measurable impact.
